Features and options
Reverse printingThe printed image is enclosed between the layers of a laminated film. The outer layer protects the print from abrasion.
Surface printingThe image is printed on the outer surface of the film. A protective coating can be applied when required.
Easy-open notchA small notch at the edge of the pouch provides a starting point for tearing it open without scissors.
Euro slotA slot in the top of the pouch allows the product to be displayed on a retail hook.
Sterilisation — up to 134 °CHigh-temperature treatment of the packed product to destroy microorganisms, including spores. The process must suit both the product and the packaging material.
PasteurisationControlled heating of the packed product to reduce microorganisms. Temperature and duration are selected for the product and its packaging.

What to consider when selecting a material
Smooth vacuum bags are considered for chamber machines. Allow for both the product size and sufficient space to position the bag in the chamber and form a seal. For external-suction equipment, check whether an embossed bag is required; for heating, check the material’s intended use.
Selection questions
Which machines use smooth vacuum bags?
They are primarily considered for chamber vacuum machines. For household external-suction equipment, check whether an embossed material is required.
What is needed for a printed bag?
Provide artwork, bag dimensions, product information and the packaging method. We agree the print position and material structure together.
How are structure and barrier properties selected?
The choice depends on the product, intended use and required strength. We compare suitable structures against their technical properties.
How should products with hard or sharp edges be packed?
Assess stresses on the material and the risk of puncture. Verify bag dimensions, structure and thickness using a product sample.
Can any clear bag be heated?
Transparency does not establish heat resistance. Cooking or other heat treatment requires material specifically intended for that process.
