EQUIPMENT AND SERVICE

Shrink equipment

The OT1 shrink tank is used after a product has been vacuum packed in a shrink bag. Its platform immerses the pack in hot water for a set time. The tank complements a vacuum machine; processing temperature and duration are selected for the product and material.

Before selecting a model

Select the shrink bag and vacuum machine first, followed by tank operating conditions. For OT1, check product dimensions, platform load, water temperature and immersion time.

Selection questions

What is a shrink tank used for?

It heat-treats an already packaged product in a compatible shrink material. Match the settings to the bag, product and equipment.

Does OT1 replace a vacuum packaging machine?

No. Vacuum packaging and sealing are performed separately before shrinking. OT1 is used at the following process stage.

How do I check whether the product will fit?

Compare the packaged product’s dimensions with the working area and check the platform load limit. Also consider how it will be loaded.

Can any vacuum bag be treated?

No. Use material intended for shrinking and the particular treatment method. An ordinary vacuum bag is not automatically compatible.

How are water temperature and immersion time set?

Use the bag specification, product requirements and equipment operating parameters. There is no single universal setting for different materials.
